Anti aging Exercises

Anti Aging Exercises play a vital role in reversing or slowing down the effects of Old age. Scientific Studies report that regular exercises combined with nutritious Diet can reduce the risk of life threatening diseases (cancer and cardiac problems) and help to live longer. As we get older our muscles become weak, wrinkles start creeping on our face, our cheeks become hollow, we are affected by reduced vision and many other problems. Regular Exercises can help us to prevent such problems and lead a happy life.

Facial gymnastics

Facial gymnastics refer to the exercises that help in boosting the muscles in our face. As we become older, the muscles in our face (facial muscles) become weak and result in "hollow cheeks" and "wrinkles on face" which are the common signs of the old age. Chewing gums not only help in dental hygiene but also help in strengthening the muscles in our face. Most of the facial exercises are simple and can be performed by all on a regular basis.

Exercise for the joints and muscles

Our joints and muscles loose their strength as we get aged. During such time, we may not be able to perform our regular work (physical work). Some also find difficulty in walking due to weak muscles and joints. There are many physical exercises that can help us to strengthen our joints and muscles; and to keep us strong enough to perform our regular activities during Old age. Even Swimming, Walking and Jogging help to strengthen our joints and muscles.

Exercise for Eyes

Reduction in vision is one of the worst problems that we may face during our Old age. Although there are eye treatments to overcome such problems because of the scientific advancement, we may have to still take care of our eyes at a younger age by performing eye exercises. Eye exercises are easy to perform and often involve the following:

  1. Rotating the eye-ball
  2. Closing and opening our eyes (with frequent intervals)
  3. Gently rubbing your palms and placing it over the closed eyes

One has to understand that physical exercises alone can't help in anti-aging. It has to be combined with nutritious diet and regular health check up with a Medical Doctor. Regular Exercises help to reduce overweight and keep our body physically fit. This in turn reduces the risk of health related problems like hypertension, diabetes and cardio-vascular diseases which could curtail our normal life.
