Anti aging foods

Eating a nutritious and healthy diet on regular basis can keep your body fit, prevent unwanted health problems and help you to lead a long and happy life. On the other hand, one should avoid eating foods which contain too much of fats as it would lead to high level of cholesterol, overweight, obesity and other health related problems. Nutritious food combined with regular exercises can help you to slowdown or reverse the aging effects. Instead of depending on anti aging supplements, one can eat nutritious foods in the form of fruits and vegetables.

Green vegetables and fruits

Most often Dietitians and Nutritionists recommend including green vegetables and fruits in our daily diet. Vegetables like cabbage, radish, and green beans help to keep our body in a healthy condition. It is advisable to eat certain vegetables in raw state rather than eating after being cooked. Fruits like Avocado, blue berries and black berries are very useful in preventing our body from damages caused by free radicals (molecules that lead to aging and tissue-damage). Foods rich in Vitamin E are really useful in protecting our skin and eliminate the risk of wrinkles in our body.

Olive Oil

As Olive oil is rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants, it is highly useful for Individuals who wish to delay the aging process. In fact Olive oil is not only used in cooking but also in cosmetic products and can be directly applied in our skin to keep the skin healthier.

Nuts

Eating nuts (moderate level) as a part of our regular Diet can help to prevent cardiac related problems and also reduces the cholesterol level. Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Almonds etc. are some of the nuts that can help for longevity.

Fish

If you are a non-vegetarian, you could consume fish on a regular basis (usually 2 or 3 times in a week). Fishes like Sardines, Salmon and Tuna are rich in fatty acids (omega 3) which can help in improving your memory power, reduce the rate of cardiac problems and prevent aging. As a matter of fact, Fish oil is used to treat various skin ailments like eczema. It can also be used in an anti aging therapy. Moreover Fish Oil is cheaper than anti aging supplements and believed to have no side-effects.
